A great way to fundraise that has little or no environmental impact is to hold a Recycle Sale!  Donations of used items can be taken early in the year, and if the first sale is a success you can make it a monthly sale to provide ongoing income for your group or cause.

People are usually only to happy to donate old household items. With a little elbow grease and some one with fixit skills, old furniture can be repaired, refinished or repainted for sale. Clothing can be washed, sorted and sold as well.
